Christmas at the LeJeunes

First stop for Christmas 2008 was the LeJeunes in Jennings. We had Christmas presents and dinner Monday night and Christmas Eve mass. Emily loved playing with Kaide and Zippy the chihuahua (though we think Zippy loved Emily a whole lot more!)
Emily must have been under the mistletoe!

Wait! Come back!

Ooh, presents!
I can eat that.

Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!

Christmas at the Watsons

Visited Andy, Shannon, Drew and Houston and John before we left for LA. Emily liked getting tickled by Drew and she loved her new Little People SUV!

Dylan's Baptism

Before all the Christmas festivities got started, we baptized baby Dylan in Jennings. I have to thank our niece Hannah for taking such great pics while I had to take Tyler to answer the call of nature! Great job, Hannah!Proud parents, Missy and Dave

Hey, I'm wet! I don't like this!

8 Months Old!

Look how big we're getting! We can't even sit still long enough to get our picture taken!
Still no teeth yet, but it looks like our first one may be coming in before the new year. We babble all the time...lots of dadada's, a few mamama's, some papapa's, and tons of "motorboats." We love tags on pillows and fringe on the Christmas tree skirt and sofa pillows. We can push ourselves to sit up and can crawl on all fours, even though army crawling is still quickest!

First Trip to see Santa!

First 5k!

Emily and Mommy particiapted in our first 5k yesterday! Laurie and her friend Lori walked in the Rudolph Run 5k. Emily was a hit as our 8th reindeer and had a great time people-watching in the cold. Maybe we'll run it next time!

First Thanksgiving

Emily's first Thanksgiving was spent with the Lafont's in Louisiana. We flew there on Wednesday night and flew back Friday afternoon so that Daddy didn't get too lonely! He admitted it was hard being separated from his girls. We managed just fine and Emily did really well on the flight. We had a great time at Uncle Mike and Aunt Yvonne's...the gumbo was great! Emily carried on the tradition of wearing PawPaw's cap. It fits perfect!

Where's the turkey??

The girly great-grandkids: Caitlin, Chloe, Emma, Emily and Destiny

Play it, Ringo!

I had been making gumbo all morning and knew Emily liked banging things together, so here's what we get! For those of you making Christmas lists? Spoons and bowls for Emily, please!

Happy Birthday Tyler and Timmy!

We went to West Monroe last weekend to celebrate Tyler's 3rd and Timmy's 2nd birthdays. We had a great time chasing after all the kiddos. 7 kids under the age of four under one roof? Whoa. Good thing the party was outside! Emily had fun playing with all her cousins. (Thanks Missy for taking 99% of these pictures that I stole from Facebook!) Can't believe we all have kids now...

The Birthday Boys!

I'm so happy to be 2!

Excuse me, I'm too busy having fun being 3!
