We wanted to make a special mention of our good friend, John Clayton ("Uncle John"). On June 22, John completed Ironman Coeur D'Alene. He swam 2.4 miles, biked 112 miles and ran 26.2 miles (yes, all in one day!). We are so proud of you, Ironman!

Baptism Gown
These are some pictures I took of Emily's baptism gown. Grom made every piece, including a bonnet, hanky, shoes, socks, slip, and dress. The detail is gorgeous, even though it might be hard to see in the pcitures. Her monogram is on one side, with room for the next 2 LeJeune's initials (2??? ha!). The gown is absolutely beautiful and we were very excited to have had Grom to make it for us.
Baptism 6/21/08
Emily was baptized Saturday, June 21, 2008 at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in McKinney, TX. The baptism was during the mass, and she behaved so well! Getting her ready before mass was another story, as Grom, Laurie and Derek had a hard time getting her beautiful baptism gown on. We want to thank our families, especially Nanny Monica and Parrin Travis for coming all the way to Texas for our special day!
First Swim!!
Last Friday, we had Monica, Travis, Tyler and Timmy, Charissa, Dustin, Hannah and Drew, Grom, Poppa Larry and Evan and Granny, Poppa James and Kaide come into town for Emily's baptism. We figured E might be confused by all the water at church, so we decided to give her a "dry run" at the neighborhood pool! She loves her baths, so we figured she'd do pretty well in the pool. Judging by that grin, she seemed to like it just fine! How about that bikini??? :)

2 months old!
2 months old already! Emily went to the pediatrician this morning for her 2 month checkup. She is now 11 lbs, 8 oz (50th percentile) and 21 inches long(5th percentile), so obviously, she's got Laurie's genes for height! She's a lot more awake, taking shorter naps and thankfully sleeping for longer stretches at night. Smiles are coming more often, which is making her Mommy and Daddy melt!
